Every year in October, my family goes to a cabin in the Broken Bow, OK area for the weekend.  It is my absolute favorite weekend of the year!  We just got back, and I’m already looking forward to next year’s trip!

The weekend is always good for my soul.  It was especially good for me this year.

There were dinners outside under this amazing porch! (And trips to the hot tub there too!)

There were colorful fires, s’mores and lots of children wielding sticks to poke the fire!

A tooth was lost.  A handmade envelope was made and sealed with duct tape to hold the tooth.  And the Tooth Fairy made an appearance!

There were hikes.

And tons of cousin fun!

I’m extremely thankful for my family.  I’m thankful that my parents see the value in getting us all together at least once a year!  I’m thankful that my kids will grow up with wonderful memories of trips with family, playing and talking all together and enjoying being with their cousins.
