I never remember when the Plano Balloon Festival is.  So, when I started seeing pictures of friends there last night, I started my plan on how I could get my family there tonight!  So the Carroll’s packed in the van and headed to Plano this afternoon!

And what’s an outing without a family selfie to kick it off!

It was pretty windy, so they had to delay the balloon flight.  And it wound up only being around 4-5 balloons that were able to take off.  But we were just glad some got to fly!  The kids thought they were awesome!!

After the balloon flight, Chris and Caleb went off to get drinks (that took an hour in line!), so the twins and I rocked out to the band playing on stage!

Sadie danced the night away (No, it is not her birthday.  Just the shirt she decided to wear.  Who was I to argue?)

Luke thought the music was too loud!

I got some sweet time with my kiddos!

The balloon glow was awesome and magical!!

And super hero dad helped carry the kids on the long walk back to the car!

It was a fun night out as a family, and Caleb is already planning next year’s trip!  Bring it on!
